This trick will work in latest versions.

Suppose you are downloading xyz.zip file. now after some time it refuse to resume. like downloaded 60% and it refuse to resume and you can not re download it as it's a big file.

Follow These Steps :

1. First of all, go to File Manager > UC Downloads

Then find your downloaded file and .tmp file. For example if you are downloading xyz.zip file which is now showing download fail.

There would be 2 files
1) xyz.zip
2) xyz.zip.temp (it maybe hidden..just change setting of file manager to show hidden files)

2. Now rename thoes 2 files in filemanager

for example:

xyz.zip to xyzold.zip
xyz.zip.temp to xyz.zip.old.temp

3. Now open UC Browser  and  right click>details of the failed download in downloads and copy the page url(last one)and then delete the file from downloads.

4. Now download same file again from the copied url  or same link.Download 200kb and push it.

5. Then again go to file manager > UC Downloads > Now Delete those two files(remember file names). [Downloading File & .Tmp File].

6. Now rename the old files to the new downloading files.

example:

if new downloading files are:

xyznew.zip
xyz.zipnew.temp

xyzold.zip to xyznew.zip
xyz.zip.old.temp to xyz.zipnew.temp

7. You’re almost done. Now Open UC Browser again  resume your download File.

8. That’s it you’re done. It will start downloading from that break point where it was failed.

Conclusion, After doing this you don’t need to think twice before Downloading anything. Go ahead.
